(1) Section size

The section size of profile is measured by circumscribed circle. The larger the circumscribed circle is, the greater the extrusion force is required. Generally speaking, the aluminum profile with the largest circumscribed circle that can be extruded on each extruder is not fixed, it is related to the diameter of extrusion cylinder, such as 20MN The diameter of the extrusion cylinder on the extruder is generally φ 170~200mm The maximum can be φ 220mm , extrusion Aluminum profile The maximum circumscribed circle is generally smaller than the diameter of the extrusion cylinder 25~50mm However, the maximum circumscribed circle of the profile can be larger than that of the extrusion cylinder when the hollow aluminum profile is extruded 15%~36%


(2) Complexity of section shape

According to the section shape of aluminum profiles, they can be divided into three categories, namely solid profiles, semi hollow profiles and hollow profiles, as shown in the following figure:

② Semi hollow profiles can be divided into three levels according to the shape of the section;

1) hollow profiles In grade I, the hollow part is round, the diameter is small, the cross-section shape is symmetrical, or the inner diameter is small, and the shape is asymmetric;

2) hollow profiles Except for class I, class II 130mm There is only one hollow part, and the hollow part is noncircular;

3) hollow profiles Grade III, except grade I and II, the wall thickness of all hollow profiles is uniform, and the hollow section is complete or porous, i.e. round, square, rectangular, hexagonal, elliptical, trapezoidal, etc;


However, the above three grades do not include some special hollow aluminum profiles;

In addition to the complexity of the cross-section, the shape factor should also be considered. The shape factor is the ratio of the cross-section perimeter to the unit mass (or the ratio of the perimeter to the cross-sectional area)

(3) Extrusion coefficient

In order to make the extrusion coefficient have a certain amount of deformation and not difficult to extrude, it is very important to select the extrusion coefficient reasonably. (4) Wall thickness of aluminum profile

The minimum wall thickness of a particular aluminum profile depends on the size of the circumscribed circle diameter, alloy composition and shape factors of the profile; the wall thickness is related to the extrusion difficulty of the alloy; for example, the minimum wall thickness of the aluminum profile depends on the size of the circumscribed circle diameter of the profile, alloy composition and shape factors six thousand and sixty-three The wall thickness of aluminum alloy is taken as 1mm Then six thousand and sixty-one Aluminum alloy should be taken as 1.5mm Left and right, and seven thousand and seventy-five Aluminum alloy should be taken as 2.0~2.5mm

(5) Design of surrounding space area

In terms of the shape of the cantilever, it is very difficult to extrude the surface of the aluminum profile, even if there is a large cross-section of the aluminum profile, it is very difficult to extrude the surface of the aluminum profile, even if there is a small surface area of the aluminum profile
