1、 Selection of electrolyte for anodic oxidation

① The electrolyte reacts with the anode oxide to form soluble salt, and the anode metal is dissolved into the electrolyte until the solution is saturated. It belongs to this kind of reaction in strong inorganic acids and inorganic bases such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, soluble chloride and strong base. Obviously, this reaction does not produce the required oxidation film, but belongs to electrochemical reaction such as electrolytic etching;

 

② The anodic oxide is insoluble to the electrolyte solution and forms strong adhesion to the electrolyte solution Aluminum profile The insulating film on the surface of anode. The film grows to high resistance so that the anode can not pass through the current. This film is very thin and has strong insulation capacity. This is the method of making electrolytic capacitor film;

 

③ The anodic oxide is less dissolved in the electrolyte, and the resulting film is firmly attached to the surface of the aluminum profile anode. While the film is growing, the surface of the film is also dissolved. Many micropores are produced in the film. The anode can obtain porous film through the current continuously. With the growth of the film, the resistance increases, the growth rate of the film decreases, and the growth rate and dissolution rate of the film are at this time Even if the electrolysis is continued, the film thickness will not increase. The maximum thickness of the film varies with the type of electrolyte and electrolyte temperature;

 

④ The anode oxide is less dissolved in the electrolyte, but it is not firmly attached to the anode. If proper high concentration of electrolyte is used, electrolytic grinding can be carried out, which is the anode process of electrolytic polishing;
